Comfort Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids North - Collins Road

Excellent, extended stay! A group of us traveling from Canada for work came through here and stayed for over 2 weeks. The manager was so personable and customer service oriented. The staff was always friendly, helpful and available. The rooms were the cleanest we've had traveling through the states, with modern amenities. Very grateful there was a hot tub for after our 12 hour work days too! Thank you guys. Will be back in the new year.

I stayed here on Tuesday 11/4/2025 with my Mom while traveling. We arrived very late at night. The parking lot is on the smaller side, and we got the last spot. Check in went smoothly. The room was decent. The rooms definitely have some wear, but nothing that affected function. Cleanliness was decent, but could have been a little better. My Mom was awoken around 4:30 AM by a water noise, presumably from a shower above us. The breakfast was pretty standard for a Comfort Inn, which is pretty decent. They had sausage, eggs, waffles, juice, coffee, yogurt and a smaller selection of cereals. A sign indicated there were additional breakfast options during the weekends, but I cannot comment on them. The pool and hot tub area looked nice, although we didn’t have time to use either. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway. For $115 for the night, I would have expected a little more, but this by no means a bad hotel. There is a decent chance I would stay here again while passing through.

Room was nice. Location was convenient, but in strange commercial location. Check-in was chaotic due to apparent "computer issue". Hotel had no idea which rooms were occupied or clean.

This is a fantastic place! Absolutely loved it here! Friendly staff, clean rooms, awesome breakfast! Anytime you need something they are genuinely happy to help. Will definitely be staying again! 10/10

Stayed for one night for an early doctors appointment the next morning in Cedar Rapids. The staff were great and the room and pool were very nice. My only complaint is that we booked an ADA compliant room because I need a shower chair. Unfortunately the thingy that adjusts the height of the shower head wasn’t working or I was too dumb to figure it out. So showering was slightly awkward but I managed. Since it was only one night and I didn’t feel like going to the front desk while naked, it wasn’t the end of the world.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast is filling with a lot of choices. Rooms are dated but decent and clean. Even offered suggestions for local dining.

Make sure you call the actual hotel do not use a third party site. Requires $100 deposit not told when booking. Pool was great love the hot tub!!

We were pleasantly surprised by this Comfort Inn. It is really a step above most that we have stayed at. Our room was very clean, as was the lobby, pool, and breakfast areas. Breakfast was a large variety of items, including biscuits and gravy that were the best we have had at any hotel. The pool and hot tub were both open. Staff were friendly and our room had a small fridge, microwave, and single cup coffee maker. The hallways seemed to be recently remodeled as the carpet was nice, clean, and plush. Overall, the best Comfort Inn we have stayed at! It was on par with Hamptons that we usually prefer, but with an even better breakfast then Hampton. Great stay at an amazing price!
